Hmmm.
A matterbof personal preference with many different opinions and much proffered advice.
I have been crimping everything since I started reloading way back - from .222 up to 8mm and everything in between - purely because Dr Richard Lee, the man who wrote “the book” recommends it and he knew a thing or two about reloading….
From memory (dodgy) his tests showed that “a good crimp” added “only a few hundred pounds” of additional pressure to many tens of thousands of existing pressure and so was inconsequential..
