I've got a pair of Crispi Summit GTX and Crispi Hunter GTX
The hunters were a bit hot for summer so I bought a pair of these Summit 6" boots back in May. They've only had light use up until about 6 weeks ago when they've probably been worn every few days. Did get muddy twice but cleaned and brushed with just water both times.
Anyway I noticed a few weeks back in that torrential rain my feet were wet at the end of the day.
Took two days to dry the boots next to the radiator.
It must have seeped through.
I thought well they're a summer boot they're probably not fully water resistant, just splash proof.
Anyway carried on wearing the boots as they're very comfortable.
Today I've noticed the sole is coming away at the toe.
Not impressed. They were about £230 from
the bush craft store.
Anyone gone through the warranty process?
Should I go through Crispi or the retailer? Got £500+ of their boots and expected more from this well reviewed brand. Maybe I should have gone for the cheaper Han Wags.
