i see theres another licence needed to operate crow cages in scotland,a one day course with gcwt costing 75 pound plus vat i was told when i got my trap number thats all i would need a few years back,ive been trapping crows for over forty years and if i dont do this course i will be breaking the law,is this just a money making scam

Red tape & bureaucracy are strangling the life out of the country's way of life.

I hear there is now a Lantra course on night shooting . You can see where it is all heading when you have been doing it for long enough.
The grant of a certificate will demand all these pieces of paper in a few years, it should put off plenty of people from wanting to be involved in field sports.
