Saw one fly over on Friday 0715. Heard one Saturday 0700 - but only "Cuk......Cuk coo" then silence. I thought it was a bit early too.

Same here. Heard my first last Tuesday, 5.30 am, somewhere nearby in the village (Edmundbyers).

Here in East Hampshire they usually appear around the 14th of April - this year was the 16th.

I was in Abaeron, west Wales on Tuesday, heard my 1st one this year, coincidentally I was watching a red Kite over the sea … And saw my first song thrush for 3-4 years.

Saw one on north Dartmoor today. Heard him yesterday but managed to catch sight today.

We were up in Applecross over Easter and I heard one most days the week after but couldn’t see him.
