Said was the only thing he could find wrong with it was screws were slightly smaller that the holes on the rail ( MDT rail )That doesn't look right to me and you should ask for it to be re trued.
Re crown. Pitch normally refers to thread. Do you mean the angle the crown was cut at ?
Also why does the rail need to be bedded?
They say they make/ fit customised rails so something isn't ringing true here.
When it's test shor you need to see it in action as how can you prove what the target shows is from your rifle!

easy said than done that lol hes hard work... just one of them people that would always be right and never in the wrong i would say...I’ve seen new Remingtons like that. As long as it doesn’t touch the side of the recoil lug pocket, then it doesn’t really matter. But it’s an easy fix, just ask whomever built it.
Have you tried a 5-shot group? Definitely something going on with the 2 shots close to touching and one not so in all three examples. Not sub inch for sure or ragged holes as he said
Yes, I did but only with 155 grain and the group got bigger.Have you tried a 5-shot group? Definitely something going on with the 2 shots close to touching and one not so in all three examples.
This^, But I would prefer it in it's correct position.Probably not provided it was glass bedded in accordance with the profile/cant in question.

Original lug on right with scope in back ground , other pic today once drilled bolt head off to get out stock . Said he only did the top rail ( bedded )
Did they find any issues?Picking it up tomorrow![]()
Yes or no , depends on the fit ! If you have issues with this bedding will normally sort it . If the gun shoots well don't go fixing what is not broken .Just out of interest would a recoil lug effect accuracy if not aligned to trigger and action ?

Probably a bit late for you, but make sure the recoil is the same thickness, I bought a Rem 700 where the lug had been replaced with a thicker one, to the extent that the proof marks were 90 degrees from where they should have been and causing headspace issuesOriginal lug on right with scope in back ground , other pic today once drilled bolt head off to get out stock .
