Cz 527 .22 hornet ammo

Hi everyone

Hoping to pick this cz 527 up in .22 hornet next week. Just wondering if anyone has the same gun and has a favourite factory bullet that goes well through it?

Hand loads all the way for a 22 Hornet, if you want the best out of it. Factory ammo is limited in availability. The 35 g Vmax and Remington equivalent is pretty accurate up to 100y or so then lose the plot. Not cheap though. Never seen anything else on the shelf locally to me.
Get some Lil’gun and load some 40g

I picked up as wide array of brands, bullet types & weights as I could with my 527 (PPU, Remington & Winchester).

None grouped fantastically.

As above hand loading is the way to the hornet. Lil gun & a 40/45gn bullet. Can’t seem to go far wrong.

Handloading. You have the right 22 Hornet, for sure. I waited all day for my threaded CZ to come back from the suppressor shop but got notice from FedEx that it was 'delayed' until Monday. So much for shooting rock chucks tomorrow. Didn't stop me from loading 50 rounds though. 34 Grain Noslers over 13 of Lil Gun. ~Muir
