Cz or tikka

Decided that I'll never own a CZ as their safety catch is the wrong way round.

Yes, it's important to be familiar with the rifle, always treat it as loaded and to never trust one which is 'on safe'.

But it's quirk with potentially dangerous or even fatal outcomes.
 
I’m intrigued to find out if the OP waited for the T3 (coming up to 3 months since this thread started)....???

Yes its a downside

In his memoirs (Squeeze the Trigger Gently) 'Skips' Riverdale remarks that his PH in Africa had a CZ with this safety arrangement.

He was thankful that the PH allowed him to have a shot or two, as he later remembered the safety was back to front in a close encounter.

The safety catch on the 550 and the 452 is the right way way round.....
