Just an update on this. After literally 20 minutes of very mild sanding and drilling for the rear action mounting lug and front action screw hole the stock dropped straight in. I’m a mechanic not a carpenter and even I found it easy. Saved myself a few hundred quid as I picked the stock up for next to nothing

I found on an American forum a couple of people who have done this and they kindly gave instructions on how to do it.

It wasn’t broke in 2 but had a huge crack almost all the way through it after it slipped off my shoulder onto a stone wall. 1 of the down sides of a plastic stock I suppose

Lovely job. I bought one on SD and shaped fitted fettled tightened two screws then had to lie down. Super stock for the .17.

Was on eBay. A few weeks ago. Though I had nothing to lose by trying to make it fit. It turned out a lot easier than I expected it to be. Very pleased with the results
