Well it costs me nothing just sitting in the cabinet. It's just that wood stocked rifles without moderators, Picattinny rails and thermal scopes aren't really on trend right now. These things tend to be cyclical.

Keep it. A stutzen may not tick the boxes of many modern shooters but who cares.
Owning a lovely thing is reason enough to keep it.

Ooofff, I want….i don’t need but oh I want. Thank goodness I can’t face the agro of a variation- if rimfires were on a SGC type scheme I’d be £450 lighter!!!

+ 1 for keep it. I have one similar with a red dot mounted. Using quiet CCI .22 longs ( not LR ) you don't need a moderator and it's very effective on the squirrels and for plinking. Best of luck.

That’s all great and thanks for everyone’s input on what they would do with it. I might not have that luxury and would like to sell ideally before moving overseas.
