Cz457 22lr ammo choice ?

I found that Eley 38grn sub's ( white box ) worked the best in my HW60, with Winchester 42grn subs a close second. CCI std were quite a bit louder than any others I tried
Incidentally, I'm not target orientated, but thought I'd add my two pennorth. :)

I have three 457 and this is my go to. All three rifles shoot inch groups at 75 yards (which is as far as I’ve shot paper with them). My purpose is hunting rabbits and squirrels and I don’t really need anything else.

Btw don’t know your intended purpose but those bullets are very good for rabbits. Actually I just checked and mine are 45 grain and rated 970 fps. Out of my 25” Trainer barrel I don’t even need suppressed. They are quiet and wallop a rabbit.

My primary use is for Light Sporting Rifle and Practical and backup pest control (primary pest control is an FAC FX Leopard), it was just a mighty coincidence a proper decent pest control round works so well LSR and Practical as well. It might also sound a little odd using subs for target but my hearing is damaged and worsening, even with inner and outer ear defenders and I therefore prefer subs and moderator wherever possible. With 22LR Bench Rest and fullbore FTR subs simply aren't an option.

Makes sense about the noise level. Honestly I have found subsonic (1050 fps and below) just shoot better in 22 rifles anyway. At least all the ones I’ve had. I used to shoot those high velocity rounds but I just don’t see the point. They are louder and less accurate in my rifles.

CCI is not really highly thought of it seems for serious target shooters but this particular load is awesome for me.

lol no, I wouldn't be caught putting CCI through the Bench Rest rifle. Equally, that's a completely different level of accuracy need/expectation and for LSR/Practical, ~1 MOA accuracy at 50m is perfectly acceptable.
