Anyone tried both?

Considering the CZ standard synthetic.
Did have a peak at the LRP.

Already have a T1x in HMR, and some T3x’s …

Also the Ruger 10/22 custom competition 🤣 decisions decisions…

Had both and the cz457 is way better in quality and feel. Had the lrp and that is something I regret selling. Currently have the 457 varmint thumbhole for sale only as I now have a Lithgow fo knocking about

Buy my cz455 precision trainer and save some cash.

Standard 457 or the LRP specifically?

I'm looking at getting a CZ457 in 22lr watched a few vids on them and they do look a good buy and value for money with good quality

I'm looking at the CZ 457 MDT LSS ..has anyone got experience shooting this model..I know the 457 action is standard across the range but it would be good to hear any thoughts on this specific rifle

I have recently purchased the CZ 457 LRP.

I absolutely love this rifle. I changed the spring and put a "YoDave" spring in to get it down to around 1lb. The rifle is insanely accurate. I have shot tiny groups with the SK long range match. It is a very similar weight to my stalking rifle so provides a handy platform to practice some shooting with out incurring the huge costs of boxed factory ammunition.

Yes…. Tried/owned both and to be honest there is next door to nothing in it in accuracy . I’d give it to the cz if your looking a pretty rifle and the t1x if your hunting with it. The tikka 10 shot mag is flawless and neat fitting. Both have lots of aftermarket mods if that your gig.

I had this dilemma a few years ago and went with the tikka.
Its probably the most accurate 22 I ever had.
I had a sako quad and cz 453 before and both were very good but the tikka is just better.
The cz 457 is also a good rifle with a good range of aftermarket accessories available if you want to change things.
Just go with whatever one feels right for you.
