Wanted: Dacia duster 4x4

I have also been looking at the duster.are most people happy with them.any thing too keep an eye open for if i go second hand

IMO it’s been a well kept secret just how good they are . Renault diesel engine (same as Clio and Kangoo ). Great ground clearance, great economy and £35 road tax for the 2wd version . The 4wd is £160 p.a. and 1st gear is more of a crawler gear , great when prowling about but I personally wasn’t keen on it when doing a lot of town driving. As the o.p. said , they’re not the roomiest either although sufficient for most . Oh, the 2wd has the spare in a carrier underneath . I’m on my second one and haven’t any complaints .

I got mine about 2 years ago. (2016 1.5 diesel). I`m happy with it, good off road capability but I don`t take it anywhere stupid. Not the fastest thing on the open road, but I`m a plodder anyway these days. The timing belt needs doing at 72K and the water pump is replaced at the same time. There are silly quotes to replace these and they are usually the Renault dealers... wanted £1050!! Jog on!! Got mine done local for under £400.
Some parts can be a pain if you break them due to supply. Eg, headlights as they were made in the Ukraine.
I use AT tyres and had it up some steep forest tracks. Large boot space especially with the back seats down.

We might be selling ours, but only as we’re getting a bigster 4x4 (with the **** engine).

It won’t be available for a few months though so depends how quickly you are after one?

Mostly on road use but had the odd jaunt around East Cornwall Sporting 🤣

It’s a 68 plate (2019 facelift model) 1.5D 4x4 comfort model, I think about 25k on the clock and we’ve always had it serviced at Renault (including the obscene cam service last year)
