Sometimes people (especially on here) think that being "lefty" means you're pacifist. Truth couldn't be further... There's plenty of causes I'd fight for - and possibly more willing to fight certain enemies. But monarchy, country or prime minister- nah mate, more self respect than that.

100% this. My main reason for being a lefty, a socialist, whatever label you like, is I don’t like selfish people.

Nobody survived in the stone age by being a selfish, money grabbing ****. Nobody will survive now when society collapses by being one either
