Dark Giant Horsefly

They must be attracted by Carbon Dioxide as I get loads of them on the output vents of my tractor cab in hot weather . A speed run soon gets rid of them before I get out or you get attacked on mass !!

I caught this behemoth in the conservatory earlier. Was surprisingly easy to trap it in a pint glass then transfer it to a travel flask. Boiling water through the drinking hole in the flask took care of it!
