And here's me thinking my 'remarks' were reasonable but obviously you think It was a stupid remark so I'll not bother.
I can see nothing wrong with putting a standard fee and then going to PM to make arrangements.
I am not sure whether some folk don't put their prices on in case the land owner looks and sees just how much the 'agent' is making.

Maybe that is so with some people but not with me, I have a very good relationship with my landowners and for other land I pay a lease every two years.

Sorry, I didn't mean anybody in particular but it just surprises me that more people don't put the basic price and take it from there with a PM.
Plenty of people can read these posts, for sure, which isn't a problem because if they are 'iffy' they can still PM and there is no way to differentiate between genuine enquiries and the non genuine enquiries.
I scan all the posts and if anything catches my eye I chase it up but when I have to go to PM I don't bother, that's the only reason I asked, no ulterior motive.
