I was out when a text came through "broke the last ****ing pin"
Leave the bits by the back door and I will try when I get back! luckily I had a 6mm masonry drill shank ( quite hard) so gave it a go.

Lathe is old but runs ok so I put the small chuck on the spindle and a fresh carbide bit in the holder what can go wrong!
With a tiny bit of luck and a tool just above centre a few light cuts and it fits the hole in end of a cut down case.

He will put it in a drill to give it a polish as the old girl is not fast enough!

Picked up and working as I left it on the front door step.

i have broken a few pins on my 270 decapping i now use a universal decapping pin and it has lasted longer than any other i have used it even does my 300wm
I ordered 13" of 6mm silver steel so will get 3 pieces and will put a "tit" on each end as Paul's holder is straight through so 2 ends on one pin lol.
