Decent batteries for Pard NV007....?

Can anyone recommend a decent battery for the Pard?

The green one came with the unit but doesn’t hold a decent charge.

The pink one I bought from amazon & holds a decent charge but doesn’t fit the battery compartment properly - I can only tighten the thread to halfway & sooner or later the lid is going to fall off & get lost.

I’m hoping someone else has been through the same issue & found the solution. Thanks...

I use these myself -

The battery you got with your unit looks different to mine, mine was a flat top battery, and I didnt realise it was rechargeable lol

The batteries on this site are good quality and the guy who sells them is well known within the drone pro users.

Torchy the battery boy on E bay is your man.
His yellow "Torchy" branded 3400mah batteries are excellent - they do exactly what they say on the packet.
Genuine Panasonic, Sanyo, LG, EFEST and Nitecore are also excellent, but beware that there are fakes of these a plenty on E Bay
BTW any battery with "Fire" in the name is total crap and should be avoided at all costs.
Similarly, any 18650 battery claiming a capacity of more than 3500mah should be avoided since 3500mah is the current upper limit than can actually be produced in a 18650 size battery.

Cheers

Same as DVS1 recommends - that Torchy boy didn’t have any in when I needed them. The Ampsplus ones are great.

Thanks all, I recall torchy being mentioned in previous threads I’ll look him up on eBay & bag a couple of his batteries.

Guys, tried to find torchy on ebay but have been unable to.
Anybody able to post a link to these batteries please ?
Cheers

I bought a couple of UltraFire 18650's, Blue wrapped, 3600mA which worked, but not for long.
I decided to open 1 yesterday ......

Miki,
Well done !!
That's the best evidence yet to show the people who think they are getting a bargain that they're actually being screwed.
I hope you don't mind, but I'm pinching that image and will be sharing it on the NV forum

Hi. “HELP” Just bought a Pard NV007 and want some decent batteries! Amplus (Norbert) is away on holiday until the middle of August so I contacted “Torchy” about the yellow ones you recommended but he emailed different ones!! The spec in the yellow ones is spot on! Can you confirm they are the ones I need? Hope you don’t mind! Many thanks Alan

These all day from 7 day shop Panasonic Eneloops ENELOOPS.jpg, genuine and work well been using them 2 months no issues with a Nitecore charger ,anything ending in "fire" belongs in the fire as they are lethal atb

Those are Nickel Metal Hydride "AA" batteries, the Pard uses lithium ion 18650 batteries.
As good as eneloops are (and they are good) they won't work in a PARD 007 (or 008 or 019)

Well, if you'd tell us what the markings on the "different ones" are, we might be able to help
Also, did he actually EMAIL batteries to you, coz that a f**kin neat trick - haven't seen that done since Star Trek:rofl:
