Opinal, great steel. You can sharpen them on a brick,aduse them , loose them. Dosent matter they are cheap. best value for money folder there has ever been.

If you cannot have a lock blade, I like the traditional folding knives, in various sizes, by Boker, Camillus and Hen & Rooster.

A Boker Vintage Stockman in 440C steel is about $15.00 USD.


A Boker Appaloosa in C-75 carbon steel is about $60.00 with bone handles. I carried one of these or a Camillus Boy Scout Knife all through school.
