Deep Sea 3110 generator controller

Hi,
just acquired a Stephill SSD10000 generator with a Deep Sea controller with only 130hours on clock.
Runs and generates fine as you’d expect, but scrolling through the menu, it shows about 122V. and doesn’t show 240 even when the switch is in the 240V position. Should it read 240V when switched to 240v, and 115 when switched to 110v.?
(all figures approximate).
Any experts out there?
Cheers

What is it reading under load?
Still about 110 ish. I’m new to it obvs but have read the handbook and even attempted to read the Deep Sea manual. But I’m reluctant to start fiddling with menus etc. Just done an oil and filter change this afternoon.

Will it run anything 240v?
Yes, it was running my compressor with twin freezer-type motors on it. Seemed to work ok. Needs a few amps to get that going. It was running that when I took the photo. As you can see, it reads 120V under load.

Is it a USA made model for the states?, (The control modules are made in the States, US voltage is 120v I believe?):-|

Can you measure the voltage from the plug? The module might be powered from a different source maybe?

I had a look at the manual and the wiring diagram.
The generator has 2 x 110V windings and the 110/220 switch simply connects those windings in series to get 220V or parallel to get 110V.
Interestingly, the DSE controller is powered directly from one of the 110V windings so, when it displays voltage, it's going to display 110V from that winding, irrespective of the position of the 110/220 switch
My conclusion: there's nothing wrong - crack on

Wonderful news! You’ve just made an old man very happy! Thanks for your explanation!

Thank you. I was going to do that once this Northerly stopped and fumes blown into my garage!
But an explanation has been offered which makes perfect sense. See above👆👆👆
thanks anyway for taking an interest👍
