Deer Butchery training S Yorks... any recommendations

Hello,
My son now lives in S Yorks (Barnsley/Rotherham area)
He has now shown an interest in taking up shooting and eating more game.
I would like to get him a day course on deer butchery, so that he could process from start to finish... that way I can just give him a carcass rather than him emptying my freezers
Either that or he can get onto the 'giving up the game' facebook page and get himself some until he starts shooting his own.

yep, videos are great but hands on with someone advising is better. Thought it would be a good present for him as well

Not far from you ,did a sausage making course there .
They do Venison, pigs,beef butchery courses nice venue good people imho .

Could he not come down at a weekend when you have one in the chiller?

he could but often for me it is at short (ish) notice and juggling between his work, dog sitting (his dog is not great with others and I have 3) having his daughter from the ex wife and both of us away a bit with other things, it hasn't proven easy.

I get that....what about you filming it as you break one down just a cheap 3 leg phone holder as often the vids don't give the detail of the lines to follow. Watts app it to him
