Belongs to a friends son it was inherited from his late Dad and appears unused.

I see to recall them being sold at Games Fairs etc, were they cheap/expensive or good/poor quality?

Any info appreciated, he is never going to use it.

The only problem with looking up Deerhunter Knives is that it puts a lot of temptation in my way !
Nice looking knife, more of a skinner. Don’t remember Deerhunter knives being a premium brand but the emotional attachment makes the cost insignificant.
Why don’t you and your friends son blood
it ?

I bought a couple of twin knife sets and gave them to friends or used them as prizes, they cost only £15 for a set containing a large knife and a slightly smaller knife complete with a sheath. I had intended to buy myself a set but they were all sold out by the time I got around to it so I can't really comment on the quality of them, but I assume that they were reasonable quality as I didn't hear any complaints about them. Japanese made if I remember correct and rebranded for Deerhunter amongst others.

A friend bought me a set about 20 years ago cheap in a fishing shop as he was getting himself some. They sharpen up to quite an edge with a steel and you can skin a few deer before having to put back over the steel, small knife is the most used with me,
