It should be as the dogs came from close to Dunbar but I believe it was Arran. They were Michael Brander’s dogs.

Perhaps but when compared to bred for purpose deer dogs they, (although there are exceptions to everything) certainly don't compare in doing the task`s done by the centuries old lines of dogs, especially the pointer breeds.

Bit of an unusual one but I think this is the right place for it. Aswell as a keen stalker iam an artist and the right reference photo would be used for a drawing and an example of my work to be displayed at the stalking show in April.

Iam looking for a nice clear, detailed photo that shows the head and shoulders close up in good light, and perhaps there’s an owner here that has just that. Bavarian, pointer etc all considered.

The owner of the chosen photo in return would get a fine art print of there dog for free of course. Thanks in advance.

Is it a malinois? I'd love one, I thought they would make a great deer dog from what I've seen of friends. But Im not up to the task of owning one. My German wire is busy enough while working full time.
