Digital powder scales.

Thank you. And what was the magnitude of inaccuracy?
I don‘t think I need to tell you that 0.1 grains are the equal of ..00648 gramms.
If a reloading scale is capable of 0.1 grs. accuracy, it is fit for purpose.
It should also be clear that all reloading scales, be they mechanical or electronic, cannot possibly live up to the accuracy of laboratory instruments at a high multitude of the price.
It is of course up to you to use your own yardstick, but moving to mechanical scales will solve your perceived problem.
I was placing an empty sample pot on the scale, removing and replacing when scale was back at zero, accuracy was between 0.001-0.003. Good enough for what they use it for and only PAT tested as far as I could see. A nice built in glass cover with sliding access door. Not sure they’d be happy for me to setup reloading in there though.

I have a Lyman accutouch 2000, a gempro 250 and RCBS 5-0-5. The 5-0-5 never comes out of the box. Both digital scales are great.

I’ve just bought a Hornady lock and load scale as my Rcbs beam scale which I’ve had for 30 years and I’ve only found out last week that it was throwing very inconsistent charges which only came to light after buying a chronograph I’ve cleaned it and set it up only to find it will not read the same thing with the same object and won’t return to zero so that’s why I went the electronic route I’ll let you know when I’ve shot some rounds off everyone seems to trust beam scales I now don’t best to have two scales to compare and check against one another !
