Dinner time death stare

Anyone else get the “dinner time death stare”?
Skye is 13, stone deaf, back legs about done, inclined to zone out and stand staring in to space but every single day, without fail, come 15 minutes before dinner time - this is what I get!
So how’s that then?

Lab body clock, not exactly uber accurate, and influenced by daylight etc, but pretty infallible. The day they don't come looking is a worry.

The nose never fails till a lab in question is dead , there might even be some question around that LOL
