Diotto boots

Halo everyone. Just a quick question, really. I need to buy a pair of boots, an I was advised that Diotto are probably the best at the moment (I have also heard about Meindl Dovre Extreme) as they are very comfortable and require minimum maintenance (just water to wash them over), not even any past to maintain water proof capabilities. Does anyone have any experience with them? Thanks!

The Meindl boots are good but they do need to be looked after,you want just get away with a wash.The Diotto boots are as good if not better than the Meindl and you can just wash them over.I have both and its difficult to chose between them both.
both are very comfortable and ruffly the same money,maybe the Diotto just edges it for me.My Meindles are 4 years old now and are showing signes of abuse but i have treated them with otter oil for the last couple of years,very good water proofing.
