DIY Chiller upgrades

I was very grateful to receive a chiller from @Auroch off the site - thank you!. Here are a few pics of upgrades I've done to fit hanging rails.

I also replaced the thermostat with a new Danfoss one off eBay (£21) and a temperature gauge (£3) to replace faulty original. I used 1" thick walled aluminium tube, some 3d printed parts and 5 x 50mm csk self tapping screws.

I'll try and get some more pics of the rest (shiny stainless bits) of my new larder in due course.

Looks really good - those rails really have increased the useable capacity. Glad the thermostat and display were inexpensive to replace - if not have known where to start with that job! 👍🏻

I am not built to handle red deer so have the utmost respect for anyone that does. I share the sentiment of a guy who took me out to shoot my first red last Dec "big horrible stinking ..things"

I shoot mostly roe deer, but it's nice to be able to deal with the odd Red deer.

Sweet set up. I’ve been looking to do something similar. Will have to keep my eyes peeled for a fridge that can be adapted.
