We brought a pair these from our local gun shop ivoryhorn near Langport and tried it on the rats. The great thing about the scope is the fact it combines thermal with day and night vision. It was brilliant to use. Thanks to the guys at ivorthorne for setting up. We generally spot with the thermal then shoot with night vision either pard 008, 007 ir hik or wulf scope. This is great for rats in the open. Not so great for the 100's on the edge of the cover crops. However DNT Optics ThermNight TNC225R Multispectral Thermal and Night Vision is a game changer and all for less than a grand. We accounted for at least 50 extra rats that would have normally been safe in the light cover. It even has an app that shows what you are firing at. Easy to interchange. Even has ir and range finder built in. I think personally these will catch on quickly. They may go fast. I know lots of other reviews have been posted just wanted to give up-to-date comparison.
