DOE CULLING (HAMPSHIRE - RG7) - NO SHOT FEES (FALLOW DOES & MUNTJAC DOES), UNLIMITED CULL DAY FOR UP TO 9 PEOPLE (NOVEMBER-MARCH)

These are exciting days where you will be positioned in a high seat or tower with a clean and safe shot towards proven deer travel routes - also known as "deer movement days" the activity on the ground is strategically planned to keep deer moving throughout the day, meaning it's rarely a dull day in a seat!

Booking "GROUP DAY" options means you are paying for 1 or 2 seats for a whole day culling, others can book on the same day so there may be other people shooting on the same day who you do not know - this is a great option if you like to socialise with other like minded people.

Booking "EXCLUSIVE DAY" options means for that day the ground we are on is yours to hunt on exclusively - great if you're meeting up with a group of friends or family to hunt together.

A typical day involves meeting for a safety brief an hour or so before first light, then deployment to seats (our guides will drive or stalk guests into seats before first light). A minimum of 3 hours later guests will be collected and taken for a hearty breakfast whilst animals are processed, then it's back out for the afternoon/evening session. We then collect guests after last light and typically go to a local "watering hole" for a coffee and/or dinner!

If preferred, we can accommodate an evening session followed by a morning session the next day - for example Saturday evening then Sunday morning. If you require this option please contact us rather than booking on the site.

Guests will have 3 hours minimum field time in a high seat (unaccompanied) per session per guest (6 hours minimum total per guest, usually closer to 8 hours field time) - guests must have their own equipment, suitable insurance (as an extra safeguard on top of ours) and posses a minimum of Deer Stalking Certificate Level 1, or at least 3 years deer stalking experience. Guests may bring non-shooting spouse or other family members with them at no extra charge.

The fee you pay covers the guides time as well as unlimited muntjac & fallow does. Shot fees for everything else are on our website.

Unaccompanied sessions are only suitable for experienced persons - please do not book if you are not confident of deer species and gender identification. There is a hefty fine if you mess up, meant as a deterrent; what you will pay as a fine if you make a mistake doesn't begin to cover the ramifications of shooting something badly or out of season - aside from the most important aspect of safeguarding animal welfare, the risk to our reputation etc is also massive. Accidents happen in the real world, but they should be extremely rare - we'd rather you just really consider every shot, which is what the fines are there to ensure.

Outing fees (all you pay, as long as you only fallow & muntjac does with adequate shot placement):
  • 1 person (Mixed group day) - £225
  • 2 people (Mixed group day) - £198.50 each
  • 3 people (Exclusive day) - £333 each
  • 4 people (Exclusive day) - £249.75 each
  • 5 people (Exclusive day) - £199.80 each
  • 6 people (Exclusive day) - £266.50 each
  • 7 people (Exclusive day) - £228.43 each
  • 8 people (Exclusive day) - £199.88 each
  • 9 people (Exclusive day) - £177.67 each
Lastly, to set expectations - we're reliant on wild animals and weather...! Whilst we are confident saying that it's unusual for guests not to get at least one shot on a cull day, there are no guarantees. The seats are placed in known deer travel routes, and we ensure the ground is rested for at least a week prior to a cull day, however there is an element of both luck and shooters-skill when it comes to numbers: unlucky or sleepy shooters will likely shoot 0-1 deer on the day, and lucky or alert shooters will likely shoot 4-8 deer on the day. Our best day on this ground has been 22 deer from 4 guests (average stalkers, perfect conditions), and the worst was 3 deer from 7 guests (great stalkers, horrendous weather). Thermal imagers help if you're not going to be constantly looking through your binoculars.

Please ensure you read our T&C's and Shot Fees pages before booking, and contact us if you have any queries - link below:

Bump - we have space remaining on the upcoming day Sunday 30th November, if you can't do a whole day we can split the session to £112.50 for a morning or afternoon of unlimited shooting on Muntjac and Fallow does - we also have large fallow bucks, medal level muntjac bucks, and roe does available on this ground at an extra charge.

Thanks,
WDS
