Looks like it'll do the job!

I've been looking for a really long (like 5m) rope slip lead. I'll probably have to make one I suppose.

Good price. I do them in round leather, but can't get near that price. That said. I did try to make one like that for tracking. Kept getting stuck in brambles.

I can see its disadvantages for tracking.
I'm using it more as a check strap as the recall whistle must be on the blink.
