Let me guess on a GSXRYou certainly did bite….however, it also leads to the absolute morons like the lady that reported me for “coming out of nowhere”….and “riding like a maniac weaving between cars”
….the police officer called me to say there had been a complaint and then informed me that he had explained “motorcycles don’t come out of nowhere so did she need to be more observant” and how my “weaving in and out of traffic was called filtering and was perfectly legal…
A great use of police time having to investigate reports from over enthusiastic do-gooders.

I think it should depend on the circumstances. Why wait until the second time?
Because few are perfect - we all make mistakes, some are too arrogant and ignorant to admit it though. Why wait until the second time?
I was replying to a post about drunk driving. How can drinking and driving ever be done "by mistake"?Because few are perfect - we all make mistakes, some are too arrogant and ignorant to admit it though.
An error in judgement can be a mistake - people make silly mistakes throughout their lives, your suggestion was to ban them for life for these, which is ridiculous - half the sh*te people do in their teens and twenties does not define the person they will always be.I was replying to a post about drunk driving. Sort of nerd with friends all over the world just none in his streetIs it just me that hates dash cam warriors ?
I bet he had a sticker on his car and was wearing a cardigan.
But the police already know about itYou’re missing the point…
if Firearms licensing decides that you are no longer “a suitable person” then your FAC is revoked.
Admitting to doing something “stupid and dangerous” isn’t a good idea.
Do you think this forum is private…?

You're right I don't please explainI shouldn’t have to explain myself…but you really don’t get it.
Read post #1.
I’d say a lifetime driving ban and revocation would have been about right for that. There’s families with kids and on those roads.I got caught doing 127 mph on the M6, outcome was 6 points and a £300 fine. I spoke to BASC before the court case about whether a ban would have an effect on my SGC/FAC and they said the police couldn’t refuse my renewal but worst case scenario would be a lecture about my actions and suitability to possess guns/rifles.

I don’t think there was any special extenuating circumstances.@Cumbrian 1
If that is true, then I am amazed your held onto your DL.

If there were any 'extenuating' circumstances, I would love to hear what they were.
