Hello All:

Its unclear to me who to call when I get a Notifiable Disease. In my Notes I have

1) The Police
2) APHA Vet - Animal and Plant Health Agency

Ok I get that, but who are these people?
3) Chief Local Environmental Officer
4) Medical Office for Environmental Health

Isnt there someone special I call when I suspect Anthrax?

Thanks for all your help, just want to be on top of al this stuff.

I had this saved in my favourites list when I did mine, my AW couldn't believe it when I whipped that out in answer to his question, although whether there would be any answer at the times we are often out in the field stalking or not is another thing, still very handy to have though.

No debate or confusion, there is one number - as MS quotes - 0300 020 0301 there's various Govt titles and names and when the music stops they all change around - but that is essentially APHA ( much easier to store in your phone ) :D

There's just the one centralised control contact point at this time - but be aware that previously we had all the assorted Vetinary Health Divisional blah blah blah offices etc - so highly likely that there will be publications still quoting long lists.

A Jaffa cake to anyone who comes to our stand at next weekend's DSF and shows us their phone with it programmed in ( subject to us only having 120 cakes with us and I NEED at least 119 of those to see me through - AND Sauer ( fair weather friend ) isn't coming with the traditional re-supply!:D

Would be there If weather foul..... but I'd keep Jaffa cakes dry ....can't be helped working in Thailand [emoji29]
And when it rains here by Christ it rains
