DSC1 Done – The Real Learning Begins!

Hi all,

I’m based in Lincolnshire and have been involved in game shooting since I was a young lad — started out beating and worked my way up over the years to the shooting line. I’ve been rifle shooting for a while now, but recently decided to take things a step further and get properly set up on my own, which led me to completing my DSC1.

I’m now working towards DSC2 and the Wild Boar Certificate, and in the process of applying for .243 and .30-06 on my FAC to cover all bases for UK deer and potential boar stalking. Really enjoying the learning curve and keen to gain more field experience.

Looking forward to getting involved on here, learning from others, and hopefully contributing a bit too.

How did you find the DSC1 course? Any tips or tricks?

Mine to, doing the online version so I can do it at my on pace

Even someone with a fairly blank mind didn't ought to struggle with the DSC1 exams. They're not difficult.
The two biggest problem areas for most people are the shooting test and the deer ID, not the multiple choice test papers.
