Hi,

I have decided to do the DSC1. Due to work commitments, I have opted for doing the course on-line. I am based in the Northeast of England. So, I would like to know how I go about sitting the exam and carrying out the shooting assessment? Is this carried out on the same day by a designated assessor?

Surely your online course provider is who you should be asking the question about arrangements for testing and shooting assessment.

I'm inclined to agree with 8x57. Any particular reason you opted for online? I did mine a few years ago with Jon Snowdon of Greenlee Deer in Northumberland.

As per previous posts whoever you go through as the course provider BASC or DS when you enroll and pay they will provide you you with access to course content and arrange the shooting test. I did the 5 day course and got a lot out of the stories and interaction with fellow students plus the questions you can ask the guy running the course
