No disrespect but it should not be training if you have undertaken DSC 2 with anyone!! You are not trained, you should know your stuff and be in the company of an AW. Perhaps you are getting mixed up with Level 1??

Still unclear in what people believe a L2 "package" ‎should offer but suspect they anticipate an element of in-the-field/on-the-job guidance in where they've got it wrong if failing to perform to standard?

I went on the "L2 package" with Jelen last year.

It would be incorrect to call it training as none was involved, instead it was an opportunity to demonstrate the requisite skills to qualify for DSC2.

What was provided was land with a high density deer population, an extraction vehicle and a deer larder. The stalking was spread over 2 days with up to 2 x am and 2 x pm sessions being available, accompanied by a very experienced AW.

The DSC2 deer park, the overgrazed ground flora and browse line are both evidence of a high density deer population.

Can you spot the deer and deer fence?

What is a park???? ... Apparently (according to Natural England) there is no such thing as 'Park Deer', they are either 'Wild' or 'Farmed'!!!! ... So what we thought was Park culling, is in fact wild culling!!!! .... Apparently.

Gary, have you got a fixation with what may (or may not) be termed as 'Parks'?

I should have said fantastic package as their was no training involved and the AW I had never seen before and lots of question being asked and answered a very long day. the 3 stalks where completed and signed off But my portfolio assessor had me do another stalk on another beast but that's another story, and that's was 6 years ago.
