Was scrolling through wildfowlmag.com and the article below caught my eye
Its a discussion on using small bores, including 410s and 28 bores on waterfowl. As most will appreciate in the US steel shot has been mandatory on waterfowl for many years.
There is discussion on bismuth and TSS being very effective in the 410, but also a comment on steel shot in 410.

So if a US manufacturer can produce such a cartridge, surely the British ammo makers will wake up to the small bore 28 and 410 steel / bismuth market, including a 2 1/2 for those with such guns.
Now that the lead ban has dates of enforcement etc the ammo makers will loose all their 16, 28 and 410 lead sales and will have to replace this.
