Never in a million years would I do that again

After five straight weeks on the above project using a breaker hammer mounted on a skid steer to shatter all the granite, this has also become my new life's motto.

My wife asked me to explain the invoice for a new rifle

It was lying on my desk

Schoolboy error.

All my rifles are the same make and model (Tikka t3), wearing identical stocks and scopes.

She only very recently realised there was more than one… but then decided we didn’t need to explore the issue further when I threatened to go examine the number of snakes she has.

We agreed that we both have one. One collection…

How do you like "The New Deck"

Having been there done that building my own in the 90`s Scott I can truly appreciate your efforts with your own home. Stick with it mate it will be worth it in the end. Suggest adding/leaving your mark in the build. 'Scott was here'
The deck floor/roof what will that be eventually over those floor joists?
Whatever it is I`ll be betting that a beer or coffee or a bbq will be enjoyed on it.

I did us a stone house way back then in the 90`s and old mate Ken (below) convinced me to sandblast a design into the window over my bed.
I found a one metre dia dray tyre (wagon) in 3/4" steel x 6" W . It was laying out in the bush and the spokes and felloes had mostly disintegrated. I took it (2) home of which one was to be the frame.
My mark besides the sambar is my initials sandblasted into the skull sutures.

I had a set like that once. They let go on me on one occasion. What a bloody scare it gave me! Still, I was more worried about the little girl that was stood beside me at the time. I know she was there because I heard her scream. Never did find her though

I put my heavy duty springs on my l200 with them, very carefully

That's a beauty John. I hadn't thought about that but now my mind is spinning.

As for use of our "deck" the upstairs has been promised to the kids so we can have an adult type house once again. The downstairs however is going to host a pool table or become the new gun room or maybe both.
