Not capable then Jim, only having level 1 and a good few hundred dead deer. You must first be fully qualified with 1 & 2 and advanced and two or three degrees including toffee bending. Then you will be a proper Deer Manager.:rofl:

Originally a farmer, gradually got into agricultural consultancy then went full time on that, Studied again at the age of 60 (:cuckoo:() and morphed again into a RICS qualified rural surveyor and project manager with the large public forest manager that everyone seems to love to hate....

Currently running a project remediating derelict open cast coal site to a condition suitable for growing commercial tree crops

Grew up on Tyneside council estate, went to secondary modern school. Served an apprenticeship as an aircraft tech with the RAF, 10+ years there, tried to train Royal Saudi Air Force techs how to look after Lightning fighters, 20+ years helicopter fixing for the Met Plod and offshore industry at Aberdeen including development of in-flight data collection systems. (HUMS for them in the know) 15 years or so NDT, maintenance planning, criticality and spares requirements analysis for the offshore oil & gas industry. Retired now, not doing anywhere near the days of stalking and paper punching I hoped to but happy in rural Aberdeenshire. :)

Nice! My crowning glory was when I got to marshall the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at an air show at Manston. My God, but that will stay with me forever. The Lanc' especially. Remembering the sound of those four Merlins, and the way she loomed up over me still gives me goosebumps almost thirty years later
