The East Mercia Branch of the BDS will be holding a range day in southern Lincs on the 20th May.
The outdoor range is located near Swayfield and can offer shooting from benches, prone and off sticks out to 150m.
It is open to any current BDS member or any affiliated group, so if you’re a member of BASC or NGO you‘re welcome to attend.
The day is priced at £15 per shooter, and this fee allows you time on the firing point throughout the day, returning to the firing point as time and gaps appear.
The Branch also has a chronograph which can be hired for an additional fee of £10, so those who are developing a new load or trying to manage the transition from lead to non toxic will find invaluable in the quest for real data.
This is not only a practical range day but an informal exchange of ideas between local deer stalkers and a good chance to meet and chat to like minded individuals in a social get together.
Any interested parties please PM me to book a place. Details of the the meeting time and exact location will then be emailed out along with the relevant range orders.
