Ebay not paying out to me.

I have four items sold, the buyers have paid ebay but ebay are asking me to verify my account, they have sent two tiny amounts into my account but I cannot find in ebay any way to verify this transaction. They had been paying out to me without problems until 20th December. VERIFY it is bloody well hidden or unavailable while they acrue the interest.

I think I read somewhere that until the item is safely delivered the seller won’t be paid but l could be wrong, happy to be corrected.

At the moment they offer free selling to private sales. I have sold four items, two I have sent and have been delivered but the last sale of two items to the same person happened yesterday he has paid ebay but I am wondering whether to refuse to send them until the payments to me have been made.

At this moment in time the only thing that I can think of is (never sold anything on eBay) if you know anyone that is a regular seller ask them what is the current situation regarding private sales, or get in touch directly with eBay help.

Recently sold a scope on EBay- had to wait 30 days to get paid- even though purchasing person confirmed scope as 100 percent and working as advertised, was told it was because it is a new eBay account and a high value item .

I detest eBay but as another said it is often like it or lump it. Their system is changing, yet again, in February.

For the present it is this.
From "My eBay" select "Selling".
From that select "Payments". See the BLUE BOX. In the blue box left click the "arrow".
The scroll down to "Withdraw" (left click) and you can then elect to take your money out.

Note that how quick you can access your money may depend on your seller rating. I have to wait to the end of the day that I have been paid before my money becomes available to me. But I only sell mostly low value items under £60 or thereabouts.

When you can get through to their agents, either online of using "have us call you" they are able to help you and talk you through the process if your 'phone and computer are adjacent when from where you are making the call.

As others have said, money wasn't released until after the parcel had been sent and safely marked as delivered.

If you delayed to send the parcel, then you're more likely to find eBay cancelling the sale...

I got to the select "Payments". Saw the BLUE BOX. In the blue box I clicked the "small arrow".
Then came no scroll down to "Withdraw" (left click) window.

They will not pay you unless you have shipped the unit, and you better make sure it’s tracked or the buyers generally claim non-delivery AND get their money back from you, even if they’ve received the goods.

For a newish account, 30-60 delay between sale and release of funds is normal. When you sell a lot, you can get down 7 day release terms

If you refuse to ship until you’ve been paid into you account, you might as well just close the account

There has to be a balance showing as being "available". If the balance is shown as "pending" there should be a note as to when it will be available. But at least I hope the process is now understandable? I had to get them to call me on their call back to explain as, yes, it seems well hidden to try to get your money from them.
