Electric shaver recommendations

Looking to buy a new electric shaver, have 10year old Braun rotary that’s ok but I always need to finish with a proper wet razor. I work from home half the week so often don’t shave for 2 or 3 days, would be handy to not need a wet shave.

Am looking for a new one for Christmas and am thinking one of the foil Braun 8 or 9 series might be a good option, but would love to hear of real world experiences/other brands-prepared to spend up to £300 if really does the job.

so, im thinking of getting an electric shaver and have no idea whats best, foil or rotary, Braun, Phillips, Remington,
some iv looked at are £600 FFS
so what are you using

Yep that seems to be the one that’s ahead at the moment. Good to hear that you recommend. Will opt for that

Ive recently got a Braun series 8 and can recommend it.
The Panasonic I had before was a disappointment as was their customer service when it went wrong.

The only reason a 20yr old girl would be likely to shave me these days is before surgery or applying a defibrillator! I do however live in eternal hope…

Reminds me of being admitted to an ED,I was on a trolley and a young (22) Asian girl came along and asked after introductions "how do you feel about a rectal examination Mr Gryphon?" I was that crook I just acquiesced lol..thinking 'here I am getting my ring fingered by a 22 year old girl stranger by the name of Jessie.' Any other day the pole on the other side woulda come up that quick it would have broken three ribs alas I was that crook I just didnt give a duck.
