Hello, been considering one of these for a while for use on roasts etc. Anyone have any experience of using one? Are the cheaper ones any use, considering it won't be used all that much? Any help appreciated, ta, Dave

Paul, thanks but that's a bit more than I need. Was thinking about one of the cheaper ones off amazon etc for about the £60 mark.

I bought one of the Andrew James meat slicers on Amazon back in 2012, mostly for cutting up joints of ham, beef, etc. for village do’s. It’s served us perfectly well over the years, although it admittedly only gets used perhaps half a dozen times each year.

They are still for sale on there at £72.
