Looking for an electric meat slicer to do some bacon I’m currently curing, any recommendations and or ones for sale, doubt it’ll be in regular use so don’t want to spend too much, there are offerings on Amazon for £50 and basic ones from nisbetts for just under £100? Any recommendations or suggestions
Cheers

Looking back at my Order history, we bought one of these from Amazon on 29 September 2012, to slice ham and beef, etc. for village events:

It's only used a couple of times each year, but it's still going strong.

I've also used it to slice organic bacon, and it does a pretty good job. It is only when you get down to the last half-inch or so that it sometimes struggles to carry on slicing, as the meat tends to get stuck in the gap between the platen at the back and the rotating blade. However for the price I've certainly got no complaints.

Took your recommendation and ordered, due to arrive Saturday so will see how it fares on my first foray into bacon!
