Ahah! So that’s why it comes with a remote!Just common sense that surely? One of the biggest selling points of an electronic caller.

Hmmmm. Knowing the workings of some minds in this collective I fear you may regret the use of some words in your post…that‘s where i went wrong, next time i will tell the wife to walk 50 yards away and not move when blowing![]()
I concur - a little movement from the wife as she blows is to be encouraged!!Hmmmm. Knowing the workings of some minds in this collective I fear you may regret the use of some words in your post…

Gosh! Many of the foxes I have shot did indeed reply to calls on Mondays but never on Sundays as that would be very naughty over here….i was going to say i was out Tuesday evening and had something happen that's not happened before to me
i sat up in my second high seat and put on a vixen call
it only played two cycle's and a dog fox replied to it
i did it twice more with a gap between and the dog replied both times
i then put vixen in heat on and the dog came though the hedge to my right, some way up and walked in a big arc around the caller
he didn't rush in but was inquisitive
shot at 235yds
I've never had a fox reply to a call before Tuesday has anyone else ?
They dont always respond, always another night.well I tried, mouse, chicken, lamb and vixen on heat calls yesterday night and nothing showeddespite land owner losing chickens a few days earlier.
wife was at home![]()
As they say, it will pull you further than gunpowder will blow you'I concur - a little movement from the wife as she blows is to be encouraged!!
I find when calling the wife, it helps to say please! They dont always respond, always another night.
With Mrs FB I have found that “another gin dear?” gets a very quick response.I find when calling the wife, it helps to say please!
Quite often if you switch the caller off a fox will appear looking to see why its gone quietout last night and had two foxes ignore the caller completely
saying that i had a vixen sit in some undergrowth for 5 minutes looking up the meadow towards the caller
so i shut it off
a minute or two later she came out enough to get a shot at her
only one shot last night at a tad over 130yds
So true, I always make a habit of looking back a couple of times when leaving a calling spot.Quite often if you switch the caller off a fox will appear looking to see why its gone quiet![]()
speak to best fox call, he'll knowAnyone ever pair a gc500 gen 2 remote with a gc500 gen 1 speaker
Hi mate. Definitely want to add vixen on heat this year. I've bought a usb stick which the sd card from inferno can go in. I've downloaded the mp3 file from NV forum. Now the bit I'm not sure on...which bit do I plug in where to get call from computer onto card & then onto caller??The Inferno has an SD card and can hold up to 200 call sounds , if you have a card reader just put it in click on it and you should see your calls numbered from 000 to the number you have on it to add a call just number it above the last one or delete a call and replace it but you will have to num it the same as the one removed , just right click on sound then rename , when you put your SD card in create a new folder and copy all your sounds to this as a back up need any help just PM me and will get you sorted
