Maybe, I have never thought about or wanted to shoot an elephant, so I dont know, I normally think more in carcass weight.

Yes sorry Gents 40-60lb refers to the weight of the tusks

No - must admit not my thing either - but can certainly understand the conservation benefits of trophy hunting etc
Know a few lads who go and they simply love the hunt

Me - happiest in a hide shooting some crows really
