Thank you for posting that Riddick. A most enjoyable watch and threw up some interesting, thought provoking material. A credit to the cameraman for having the bredth of mind to take such a trip and try to challenge his own views. A little uncomfortable at times with the old views which came across towards the Africans, but as a far younger man I understand Guy has lived in a different era and as he says is a product of that.

The old boy reminded me of John Seymour, the self-sufficiency guru.
He was an African old colonial and a keen shooter as well. From memory he used a .404 Jeffery ("by God it kicked") rather than a .416 Rigby.

They could be brothers:

Both out of the same mold I guess. Now sadly long since broken.

The similarity doesn't end there. When Seymour returned from Africa, before buying his small holding he lived in an old trolley bus.

Wallace.webpI guess the lifestyle and the era the came from moulded persons of very similar character and outlook. the physical resemblance is astounding, as you say "they could be brothers" :thumb:

Very interesting Riddick. I wonder what response it is getting on social media? I wonder if filmaker realises he has plagiarised the title
