Thank you for posting that Riddick. A most enjoyable watch and threw up some interesting, thought provoking material. A credit to the cameraman for having the bredth of mind to take such a trip and try to challenge his own views. A little uncomfortable at times with the old views which came across towards the Africans, but as a far younger man I understand Guy has lived in a different era and as he says is a product of that.

The old boy reminded me of John Seymour, the self-sufficiency guru.
He was an African old colonial and a keen shooter as well. From memory he used a .404 Jeffery ("by God it kicked") rather than a .416 Rigby.

I guess the lifestyle and the era the came from moulded persons of very similar character and outlook. the physical resemblance is astounding, as you say "they could be brothers"
