I've been out so long I'd almost forgotten, then my pension arrives every month to remind me,
Just about enough to feed the budgy so long as it doesn't ask for seconds
£2.12.6d went a long way in my day with beer at 11d a pint and cigarettes at 1s. 4.1/2d a packet, they were only 54P when I came out (of the army) !!!!
