Since the passing of my wife of 62 years I have been 'exploring' the house to look for things that my wife would have immediately produced whenever I have asked for it.
Looking round so far I have found one pre decimal £5 note and one 10/s note used as book marks and notes cut from magazines that I never thought she would have been interested in including one or two racy jokes cut from where I have no idea 
Pictures of me going back to our courting days and a few letters I wrote to her when I was posted abroad.
I have also found a collection of the old chunky 3d bits, old penny's and a few half penny's. Also 1550 Yugoslavian Dinar notes from our holidays before the problems.
In one of her 'treasure' boxes was an old gun license of mine dated 1966, I've no idea why she would have kept that or even how she got hold of it in the first place.
