Mine have always had the action stated on the FAC.So I got my renewal through, unusually though there is no definition on the action against each slot.
Anyone consider this unusual?

Already owned. As I take it is the case with the OP's FAC, as he mentions renewal rather than grant. For purchase? Or for already owned?
I think he's referring to the vacant slots, as on the photo.Already owned. As I take it is the case with the OP's FAC, as he mentions renewal rather than grant.
Ah yes, I see that now.I think he's referring to the vacant slots, as on the photo.
Perfectly usual IMO not to mention an action type on an authority to acquire - the 'good reason' based on which the slot has been granted usually relates solely to the calibre/chambering, rather than the action you intend to, or eventually do, buy.
That's Best Practice, when you make your purchase the action can be specified thenSo I got my renewal through, unusually though there is no definition on the action against each slot.

Since when? Nothing in the Firearms Act prohibiting S/A .22 rimfires for vermin control is there? My FEO was specifically interested in the justification for my request for a semi auto 22rf, explaining that i can submit my justification but it may not be approved as apparently semi autos are beginning to be hard to justify for vermin control. hence why i was surprised to receive a certificate that didn't even specify the action against the 22rf.
