Finally bade goodbye🫣

I'm on my second EV through salary sacrifice, not met many people who regret making the switch and those that have probably didn't do their homework or got something with a battery too small for their needs like getting a small city car to tow a 6 berth caravan. First one was a 540bhp flying machine that cost me £6 to charge at home for about 200 miles, could get more if I drove it slowly but for the sake of saving 50p why bother? Only issue in 3 years and 30K miles was a failed rear suspension air bag (common fault). 6 week wait for the part but got an M4 competition as a courtesy car which was not as good as I'd hoped, slower to 60 than the EV and cost about £400 per month in petrol and the auto gear box was numb as f**k. Battery performance hadn't dropped off in the 3 years I had it and only lost 10 to 20 miles range in cold weather. Now got another of same make and model ( BMW i4) just a lower power motor at 350bhp. I've done 500 mile trips in a day and had no problems charging on the go, never had to wait more than 5 mins to get a charger. Super smooth to drive and makes my pickup feel even more agricultural than it is. While I can keep getting fully maintained and insured EV's through work I'll keep getting them. Would I buy a brand new one with my own money? probably not. Would I buy a used one? defiantly.

We've have a smaller (150 - 195 miles) battery EV for years, driven it from mid Hampshire to lands end and up the the lakes with a few stops to charge on each journey. It's actuallyquite good and we've found some lovey little stops when we've looked for a charger. Although the stop at the cafe attached to the farm shop that had a full on cheese room was a mistake I'll only take my wallet in once...

edited to say have not had, autocorrect likes to help not help.
